Our Story

For over 70 years, Men for Missions has been challenging ordinary men to do extraordinary things for the Kingdom of God.

Born out of a
vision

In 1954, Dr. Dwight Ferguson looked at the mission field and saw a gap — men were missing. So he did something about it. Men for Missions was founded on the belief that God doesn’t just call the ordained. He calls the carpenter, the farmer, the businessman, the everyday man willing to say yes.

More than 70 years later that vision is still driving men and their families to serve wherever God calls — right here or around the world.

Take Mr. Meek and Mousy, stand him on a corner in South America and let the power of God flow through him in a way that new strength and boldness transformed his life.

— Dr. Dwight Ferguson, Founder

What we believe about ordinary men

Men for Missions is a lay movement born of God, mobilizing men from all walks of life to do extraordinary things.

Do

Use your talents

Whatever
your trade,
skill, or gift,
God can
use it in
service of
His Kingdom.

Go

Step into the field

From your
own
backyard to
the other
side of the
world,
there’s a
place for
you.

Give

Offer what you have

Your time,
your
resources,
your
testimony,
all of it
matters in
God’s hands.

The MFM commitment

Participation in Men for Missions is open to anyone willing to affirm these three things:

  • I will     do     whatever God asks me to do
  • I will     go     wherever God asks me to go
  • I will     give     whatever God asks me to give
